Disclosure Statement

Dixonrunning is a personal blog written and edited by Ryan Dixon. This blog is a place for me to record my thoughts, share personal experiences related to running, share gear and race reviews among other things related to the sport of running.

I promise to be honest in my views and opinions and am not swayed by compensation. If I accept a product or service for review, I do not promise to write about it. I only recommend products I believe in and personally would use. If I give you stats, product claims or information that has been given to me by a company on their product – it is up to you to verify that what the company says is true.

I am not a doctor. Any advice followed on this blog is done so with the understanding that you can not hold the author liable. Always consult a doctor before begining a running program or training for long distance races.  By reading this blog there is an implied consent that you will not hold the author liable for any injuries, etc. that may occur as a result of reading and copying anything in this blog.

Information provided in this blog is subjective, please keep this in mind when reading it. I do not provide any warranty on the content or accuracy of anything in this blog – though I do my best to make sure everything is indeed correct and factual.


Privacy: Occasionally Dixonrunning will use the real names of family, friends and their children – this is always with their permission.

Dixonrunning does not share personal information with third-parties nor does the owner store information that is collected about your visit for use other than to analyze content performance through the use of cookies, which you can turn off at anytime by modifying your Internet browser’s settings. The owner is not responsible for the republishing of the content found on this blog on other Web sites or media without permission.
